TSA Approved (Transportation Security Administration)

The TSA has implemented tight controls on who may deliver to airports including O’Hare International Airport, Midway Airport & General Mitchell Airport (Milwaukee, WI). They require companies and respective drivers to apply for Security Threat Assessment Certification. Larson Express office staff and many drivers (cars to dock trucks) are Security Threat Assessment Certified.

HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act)

All Larson Express personnel are trained on HIPAA Privacy Standards and are aware of the importance of privacy regarding PHI (Protected Health Information). We review examples of how a driver may violate the PHI of a client and discuss in great detail the importance of chain of custody controls.

D.O.T. (US Department of Transportation)

Larson Express meets all requirements of Department of Transportation to deliver goods including medical of any type anywhere domestically. Also, we are HazMat certified and are authorized to deliver HazMat materials ranging from small packages to truckloads. Larson Express drivers and office staff are trained in the rules of delivering HazMat materials.

Bio-Hazardous Spill Procedures and Pathogen Training

Drivers within our medical division carry biohazard spill kits and are trained in company procedures concerning bio-hazard spills. All medical couriers are certified through the High Q DOT Medical Courier Training Program Greyhound & OSHA Blood Borne Pathogen Training.
